Meeting and discussing with the delegation, Professor, Doctor Sang Ryong Lee – Director of the Techniques University –Kyungpook National University introduced about investment policies on Science and Technology (S&T) of South Korea’s Government, especially South Korea’s policies on attracting talented people and strengthening international cooperation in S&T.
Professor, Doctor Sang Ryong Lee said that South Korea has paid specially attention and encouraged scientists to write articles and participate in international Conferences on S&T. This is the objective to mark South Korean on the world S&T map through articles published in prestigious S&T magazines in the world.
Professor, Doctor Sang Ryong Lee also shared experience in linking the University with enterprises through transfers of research results, establishment of S&T enterprises of young scientists. The delegation has introduced about Vietnam’s renovations in S&T field in recent time. The delegation had a meeting with some Vietnamese students who were learning in Kyungpook National University.
After finishing the working session with Kyungpook National University, the delegation participated in the International Conference on computering control and automation organized by IEEE. The delegation exchanged experience in organizing international conferences with representative scientists from many countries, at the same time delivered reports in the Conference.
The Center’s trip has been successful and open to apply some successful experience of South Korean and IEEE within Vietnam’s practical situation.
