In the meeting, the Management Board’s representative of Hoa Lac HTP had the overall introduction with the MISSION about Hoa Lac HTP with information of its planning, investment promotion and strengths.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Quynh said that although Argentina and Vietnam had a very long geographical distance, recently cooperative relations between the two countries have had a lot of good progress. Vietnam has known more about Argentina with high-technology agricultural products.
Vietnam is an agricultural country therefore Hoa Lac HTP has paid a lot of attention to the development of biology technology and S&T for the life. On the basis of Vietnam’s high technology development directions, Hoa Lac HTP has prioritized investment, research and development and human resource training in 4 high technology fields including biology technology, information technology, automation technology, new material technology.
As planned, by the end of 2015, all the infrastructure of Hoa Lac HTP would be completed to meet requirements of investors. Currently Hoa Lac HTP has had 61 investors but none of them is from Argentina. Mr. Nguyen Trung Quynh hoped the S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina would be developed more and more. For the coming time, the two parties would coordinate, find out the most relevant cooperation activities to introduce in the framework agreement on S&T Cooperation and Hoa Lac HTP would have cooperation and investment of Argentinian investors.
The Argentinian mission highly appreciated Vietnam’s social, economic and S&T development. The mission also expressed its desires that S&T cooperation between the two countries would be developed more in the future.
It is known that in addition to the building of infrastructure for S&T development, Hoa Lac HTP hoped to develop the social infrastructure so that everybody could come here to work and live. In the future, Hoa Lac HTP together with the National Universitywould become the core of Hoa Lac Scientific City.
