In the meeting, Minister Nguyễn Quân expressed that Vietnam has hoped to receive Professor Graham Durant AM’s cooperation and support – an expert in fields of museums and communication as well as those of Australian Government in field of training on communication profession for officers.
According to Minister Nguyễn Quân, Vietnam is the first stage of establishing communication systems for S&T as well as is preparing for ideas of building Vietnam’s first S&T museum. Therefore, experience of the Professor as well as support of Australia are very precious to Vietnam, especially in the context that the two countries would celebrate the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations as well as prepare for signing the cooperation agreement.
Professor Graham Durant AM shared that two countries of Australia and Vietnam have the same need to bring S&T to the public and develop scientific research in universities, therefore Australia would do what it can to support Vietnam in S&T communication field as well as establish science museums.
On this occasion, Professor Graham Durant AM presented MOST the virtual picture. This is a very famous picture, which has been displayed in some scientific museums in the world as Australia, the US, Canada,… This picture will be displayed in Vietnam’s first scientific museum.
