Innovation at Science and Technology Enterprises / Organizations in the era of Smartization is the topic that has been shared by Mr Bui Quy Long - Director of The Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Intertionalization Promotion (VISTIP)- Ministry of Science and Technology at the Thematic Special Section B "Regional Innovation System and technopolis" under the 2018 Global Innovation Forum in the framework of the series events of The 11th WTA General Assembly took place on October 12th in Binh Duong province. This event was co-organized by the Vietnam Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOST) and Binh Duong Department of Science and Technology.

On 12/10/2018, in Hà Nội, Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP), Mrs. Bùi Thị Huy Hợp, Deputy Director, has had a meeting with Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thanh An, The Country Manager in Vietnam of The Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR Vietnam) for discussing on collaboration in applying updated advanced technologies to develop agriculture in Vietnam.

The Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP) has organized a training course on knowledge and experience about domestic and international technology transfer from the 4th to 5th October, 2018 in Ha Noi.

10/04/2018 Training course in writing and presenting reports and scientific papers

In September, 2018, the Center for Viet Nam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion ( VISTIP) has organized the training course on writing and presenting the scientific papers and reports with two main contents : The scientific paper writing skills for domestics and international journals and skills for writing scientific papers/reports and presenting scientific reports in English. Scientific reports and papers are considered to be " measuring tools " to eveluate the scientists, but these two indicators are considered challenging for young researchers, so the training course has provided a great deal of attention for Young researchers from the R&D, research institutions under the Ministry of Science and Technology and some other Ministries.

09/28/2018 Series of seminars “Experiences in Science and Technology cooperation with Poland” and “Recommendations for Science and Technology cooperation: Vietnam – Poland”

According to the regular functional tasks assigned by the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2018, on 25th September 2018, the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP) organized two seminars “Experiences in Science and Technology cooperation with Poland” and “Recommendations for Science and Technology cooperation: Vietnam – Poland” in Hanoi. The Seminars were opportunities for delegates to discuss and share experiences in S&T cooperation with Poland, solutions to strengthen S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Poland, and, in addition, to facilitate scientists, experts, and businesses have the chances to access and exchange information on S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Poland.

According to the regular functional tasks assigned by the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in 2018, on 24th September 2018, the Center for Vietnam Science and Technology Internationalization Promotion (VISTIP) organized two seminars “Experiences in Science and Technology cooperation with Korea” and “Recommendations for Science and Technology cooperation: Vietnam – Korea” in Hanoi. The two seminars were held with the expectation of getting experts’ consultation on experiences in S&T cooperation with Korea and solutions to establish the S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

Implementing the Regular Functional Task in 2018, assigned by the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a business trip was set up to investigate the need of international cooperation in connecting between supply and demand, technological innovation of enterprises in the transportation section in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh. The surveyed enterprises are mainly engaged in the fields of maritime, ship building and offshore construction, transportation services, logistics and trade enterprises supporting the transport sector.

06/18/2018 Hanoi licenses $5.4 billion worth of FDI projects today

This morning at the Hanoi 2018-Investment and Development Cooperation conference, Hanoi granted investment certificates and awarded decisions of investment agreements to 71 projects with a total registered investment capital sum of VND397.33 trillion (over $17.65 billion).
