In the meeting, Minister Hoang Van Phong congratulated Ms. Maria Candida Teixeira to be newly appointed as the Minister, at the same time soon complete her doctoral thesis at Vietnam Atomic Energy Academy. Minister Hoang Van Phong also informed of some initial achievements, future intentions of Vietnam in using atomic energy with peaceful purposes; at the same time express his hopes to readily cooperate with Angola in this field. Ms Maria expressed her sincere thanks to Vietnamese agencies for supporting her to complete her doctoral thesis, and expressed desires to promote cooperation between the two countries in S&T activities in general and in the field of atomic energy in particular – the field she directly learns by carrying out her doctoral thesis in Vietnam
