In the Conference, participants were presented with the Report on summarizing the implementation of Standards, Metrology and Quality activities in Ministries and branches 2010, thematic reports on standards, technical specifications, metrology, appropriate nessassessment, results of international cooperation and results of the implementation of the proposal on Technical Barrier Agreement in Trade (TBT proposal) for the 2006-2010 period, the expected TBT proposal for the 2011-2015 period.
The Conference also worked out some key tasks in Standards, Metrology and Quality activities of Ministries and branches for the coming time in terms of standards, technical specifications, quality management, State managementactivities in metrology, TBT activities, the implementaiton of “the National Program on promoting productivity and quality of products and goods manufactured by Vietnamese enterprises by 2020”
In the Conference, the participants also discussed and exchangedideas about issues relating to Standards, Metrology and Quality in 2010 as well as work directions of Ministries and branches for the coming time. In addition, the participants also made proposals and recommendations to contribute to improve more Standards, Metrology and Quality activities of the branches.
