In the meeting, the two parties had brief introduction on the organizational structure, functions and tasks of the two organizations, proposed some fields for cooperation and came to agreement to the fact that the two parties would soon discuss, draft and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation (MoU) for the coming time.
General Director of Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality Ngô Quý Việt highly appreciated Mr. Nobuki Kawamura’s visit and working session and expressed his hope that two parties would have official cooperation activities in fields of common interest, especially the standardization field.
