Over the past time, especially after Agreement 123 is signed, Westinghouse Electric Company has actively discussed with VARANS and expressed its desires to share information relating pressurized water reactor (PWR) in order to strengthen capacities of analysis and nuclear safety appraisal for this reactor technologyfor the nuclear power development in Việt Nam.
The Agreement on Information Security signed by the two parties is to ensure confidentiality of information shared with VARANS and Westinghouse Electric Company, in the Agreement it is stated clearly access, use, publicity, exploitation, transfer of information and documents between the two parties.
The signing of the Agreement on Information Security is the basis for cooperation, exchange of thorough technical information between the two parties and the important basis for the implementation of Westinghouse’s programs on support human resource training for VARANS in the future./.
