Vietnam and Slovakia are the two countries which have long-term traditional relations. With Slovakia’s strengths, Vietnam has hoped to learn from Slovakia’s experience in fields of atomic energy and standards, metrology and quality.
Mr. Pavol Pavlis affirmed that Slovakia has had abundant and comprehensive experience in atomic energy field, therefore Slovakia hopes to share its experience with Vietnam, especially in the context that Vietnam is prepare to build the first nuclear electricity plant. At the same time, Mr. Pavol Pavlis highly appreciated Vietnam’s human resource and emphasized that Slovakia has been willing to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese young generations to study and do research in Slovakia.
Deputy Minister Nghiêm Vũ Khải expressed his strong belief that after Pavol Pavlis’ visit, cooperative relations on S&T field between the two countries would be continuously developed. Especially, Vietnam - Slovakia cooperation would be the bridge for Slovakia to enter into other nations in the South East Asian region.
