The Workshop was to review cooperation activities in technology use and transfer, at the same time propose ways to strengthen better the cooperation on this field of the two countries.
In the Workshop, scientists, managers and enterprises discussed in an open manner and shared information, knowledge as well as experience in developing professionalized service mechanisms, promoting technology transfer and transactions; cooperation policies and opportunities of Vietnam – China S&T immediate organizations; roles and impacts of intellectual property on the process of technology use and transfer; recommendations to implement and establish S&T information system between the two countries,…
So far, the cooperation on the field of technology use and transfer between the two countries has achieved good results. Among them, the cooperation on S&T information system should be mentioned. Regarding sources, it has comprehensively developed including Government agencies, research institutes, enterprises and intermediate organizations. The two parties have established the service system, information cooperation and group of professional information service human resource. Especially, the project on “The foundation to expand typical industrial researches in agriculture between Vietnam – China” has been implemented since 2000, so far there have been nearly 80 types of rice, vegetable and melon breeding planted in model planting units in Hanoi Agriculture University. In addition, there have been more than outside 50 extended planting models. The project has organized more than 40 training sessions for more than 3,000 batches of people.
Delivering a speech in the Workshop, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Nguyễn Quân highly appreciated good cooperation relations between the two countries and wished striking achievements in the S&T field which China’s people have gained after more than 30 years of renovation and door-opening. The Deputy Minister also hoped that the Workshop would be regularly organized on yearly basis and in turns in each nation so that the two parties can share experience, knowledge and research and cooperation results. This would be a good opportunity for strengthening better the understanding and mutual reliability between people of the two countries, contributing significantly to deepen the content of comprehensive Vietnam – China strategic cooperation and partnership relations.
Also within the framework of “Vietnam – China Friendship Year”, MOST has coordinated with some Chinese Ministries and branches to carry out some activities in the two countries so that scientists, managers and enterprises of the two parties have opportunities to together do research, discuss, share experience in the relevant management field as Bilateral Cooperation Discussion between MOST and AQSIQ; Workshop on sharing experience in China’s Science and Technology management; Workshop on “S&T program evaluation: China’s experience and suggestions for Vietnam”;…
