RFMD (the US) is a big group in the field of manufacturing wireless semi-conductor equipment. The number of staff in the Group is currently more than 4,000 people. At present the Group has operated in many countries in the world. The Group’s main products are integrated circuits, electronic semi-conductors used in mobile phones. The Group is the partner of many big telephone companies in the world, in which some partners are doing business and manufacturing in Vietnam. With demands of expanding its production and business, RFMD is conducting market surveys in order to invest in building a manufacturing factory in Vietnam.
In the meeting with the Group, Mr. Dao Duc Bay –Deputy Director of the Management Board of Hoa Lac High Tech Park expressed his thanks and welcomed RFMD Group for its attention in investment in Hoa Lac High Tech Park. Mr. Dao Duc Bay introduced with the Delegation about the operation and development status of Hoa Lac High Tech Park, preferentials as well as its strengths in comparison with those of other industrial parks.
After the introduction about the Park, the representative of RFMD Group highly appreciated investment conditions in Hoa Lac High Tech Park and presented briefly about the expected project on investment in Vietnam, which will mainly product semi-conductor equipment the Group has manufactured in many countries in the world.
After some exchanges and discussion, the Delegation visited possible locations for its investment in Hoa Lac High Tech Park.
