In the Conference, delegations from member countries together discussed and propose joint projects among member economies in order to promote tertiary education to become motivations for science and technology innovation; discussed on solutions for issues as 1) Ensuring the appropriateness in use and distribution of science and technology products at tertiary education to contribute to the economic development in APEC region; 2) Challenges in terms of science and technology and professional orientations in the future; 3) Innovation in strategies and methodologies of tertiary education. The member economies also discussed emerging common issues in APEC region as food security and production; environment, natural disaster protection, climate change and energy; marine economy: biology diversity and conservation; technical analysis and innovation; health system improvement.
