MOST has assigned Vietnam Atomic Energy Commission (VAEC) to coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to organize the International Nuclear Electricity Exhibition 2010 in Decision No. 596/QĐ-BKHCN dated 20/4/2010 by the Minister of Science and Technology.
The exhibition would be focused on main topics. The first one was to introduce the preparation of necessary infrastructure for building the first nuclear electricity factory in Vietnam. The second one was to introduce capacities and experience of nations with developed nuclear industry, of international organizations on design consultancy, project appraisal, project management and human resource training for the project on nuclear electricity factory; capacities in designing, manufacturing, building, installation, operation, maintenance and provision of nuclear materials, in ensuring the security for the nuclear electricity factory, in treatment and management of radio-active wastes from the nuclear electricity factory. The third one was to introduce supports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for nations which have programs on nuclear electricity development. The forth one was to introduce capacities, experience of domestic industries which are able to participate in the implementation of the project on building the nuclear electricity factory.
The 4th International Nuclear Electricity Exhibition on would be organized from 9h00 to 18h00 of 27 – 29/05/2010 at the address of Salon 2 the Exhibition house - Friendship Cultural Place, 91 Tran Hung Dao - Hanoi.
