On 14/8/2009, in Hanoi took place the on-line Conference on Technology of water supply and sewage treatment of Israel and Information on guiding the implementation of the Bilateral Financial Protocol organized by the National Center for S&T...

Although Israel is a small country, it has the most advanced science and technology in the world, especially technologies of water saving and re-use. In addition, Israel is the leading country in water saving and water treating from industrial waste water.

Mr. Amnon Efrat, Ambassador of Israel State to Vietnam has shared “From a barren dessert country, Israel has now become the leading country in terms of agricultural technologies with solutions of irrigation, development of green house and State management. This has originated from necessary demands, smart technologies and experience gained over the past time”.

Delivering a speech at the Conference, Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tien said “Over the past time, cooperation between Israel and Vietnam has more developed in all fields from economy, social culture, education and training, science and technology. The introduction of Israel’s advanced technologies with Vietnamese enterprises and scientists at the Conference has played an important role, making premise for expanding cooperation opportunities later”.

Also in this Conference, Mr. Ran Yehezkel, the Director of Israel’s Department of Economics and Commerce has introduced about the International Conference and Exhibition on Environment and Water Technology 2009 (WATEC 2009) and the Bilateral Financial Protocol between Vietnam and Israel.
