In the afternoon of 14/7/2009, at VAES’s Office, Assistant Professor, Dr. Vuong Huu Tan, Vice President, VAES’s General Secretary, Director of Vietnam Commission for Atomic Energy chaired the working session with the KNS delegation. Participating in the working session were VAES’s Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Le Van Hong, the Head of VAES’s Office and some permanent members of the Society.

In the working session, the two parties have informed each other on activities of the two societies over the past time. The KNS Delegation made a presentation on introducing the development situation of atomic energy in South Korea. The Vietnamese party also introduced about its activities in the program on atomic energy development in Vietnam. The two parties have agreed to continue strengthening cooperation activities in exchanging information on the societies’ activities, their participation in professional activities organized by another party. KNS has expressed its willingness to send experts to give lectures in training programs for Vietnamese staff.
