In the working session, the delegated was introduced briefly about the status of enterprises, research organizations and universities which have been granted with permission to invest in HHTP. The two parties discussed on the development status of products of wood, coffee, biological energy, wind energy ….. of the two countries. The Ambassador highly appreciated opportunities of scientific development cooperation between the two countries and hoped that in the future more Brazilian high-technology enterprises would come to invest in Vietnam as well as many Vietnamese enterprises come to invest in Brazil.
EMBRAER group also expressed its desire to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines to review abilities of investment and research as well as manufacturing some aircraft components of EMBRAER in Vietnam. Discussing with the delegation, Deputy Minister Nguyễn Văn Lạng proposed that EMBRAER study to set up its representative office in Vietnam to understand more cooperation opportunities and HHTP would create the most favorable conditions so that EMBRAER could establish some research and manufacturing units of aircraft components there.
