The session was focused on main topics as preliminary report on implementation results and review plan of the Program for the period from 2005 to 2010; Brief introduction of the Progarm for the perido from 2011 to 2015; report on implementaiton plan of the Progarm forp the period from 2011 to 2015 and some key tasks in 2011 (completing documents to provide guidelines, developing and approving projects and allocating budget for general operations and projects in 2011...).
The Program on supporting Intellectual Asset Developmetn for the period from 2005 to 2010 was approved according to Decisoin No 68/2005/QĐ-TTg dated Aprile 04, 2005 by the Prime Minister (in short called “Program 68”). The Program was aimed at two objectives of improving awarness of Vietnamese enetperises on intellectual property protection and raising competitivenss of Vietnamese enterprises.
For the period from 2011 - 2015, the Program on supporting Intellectual Asset Development was approved acording to Decision No 2204/QĐ-TTg dated December 06, 2010 by the Prime Minister on the basis of continuing to maintaing and develop impelemtation results of the Program for the period from 2005 to 2010 and add some contents approperiate with directions and requirements for S&T development for the period from 2011 to 2015. The Program for this period is aimed at two main objectives, which are continuing to improve awareness of Vietnamese enteprieses on intellectual property protection; contribute to improve competitiveness of Vietnames enterprises. MOST has been assigned to chair the the Progarm’s implementation. The Aagency for Intellectual Property – MOST is the Standing agency of the Program. Department of Science and Technology is the Project Manmaange Aagency at local level.
