In the meeting, Mr. Iwata Shizuo presented with the Deputy Minister the brief report on development directions of high-speed railways in the technical cooperation program on studying project on high-speed railway for Hanoi – Vinh route and Ho Chi Minh – Nha Trang route between the Governments of the two countries. This program has been added in programs of 2010 fiscal year by Japan.

Deputy Minister Nghiem Vu Khai highly appreciated ideas proposed by the expert team in the report and proposed JICA as well as Japanese Government to pay special attention to Vietnam in issues on technology transfer, human resource training, auxiliary industries,...
