Ms. Loni Hancock – the Senator of California State with her husband – Mr. Tom Bates, Berkeley City’s Mayor expressed her sincere thanks the Deputy Minister for spending time to meet and desires to know some information relating to MOST’s activities and to cooperate and support Vietnam. She said the US has paid special attention to the S&T development, especially S&T use.
Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tien has expressed his glad to welcome Ms. Loni Hancock and her husband, at the same time shared Vietnamese Government’s concerns on S&T, results of S&T activities in some fields of health, agriculture, environment, natural disasters … The Deputy Minister has also hoped institutes and universities of the two countries can cooperate and support each other to develop together.
