On the occasion of this visit, Mr. Trần Việt Hùng, the VOIP’s Director and Mr. Jung-Sik KOH, the KOIP’s Director have signed the MOU between the two countries, marking a new development stage in cooperation relationships between the two countries in terms of intellectual property.
According to the MOU, the two parties will carry out cooperation activities of exchanging information of laws, organizational structure and operation, especially information on the development of the national intellectual property system; conducting single appraisal of industrial property, developing and exploiting databases on industrial property; carry out training for staff and improving the public awareness on intellectual property, including the organization of training courses, conferences, meetings and survey visits on intellectual property; establishing and organizing the implementation of measures in order to popularize patent information, promote innovation, protection and commercialization of intellectual assets.
