Japan hoped to support Vietnam with training experts

On January 09, 2012, Minister of Science and Technology (MOST) Nguyen Quan had a meeting and working session with Japanese Minister of Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Nakagawa Masaharu.

In the working session, the two parties have reviewed and emphasized main contents of S&T cooperation between the two countries for the coming time. Among them, focuses have been given to specific activities as Building Cosmology Center in Hoa Lac HTP; Vietnam has participated in the East Asian Joint Research Forum initiated by Japan; training human resources for Vietnam’s first nuclear power plant… In the session, Mr. Nakagawa Masaharu emphasized that from Japan’s practical experience, Vietnam should pay attention to train good experts and Japan would be willing to support Vietnam with this issue.

Minister Nguyen Quan expressed his sincere thanks for Mr. Nakagawa Masaharu’s suggestion and said it has also been Vietnam’s desires. The Minister expressed his hopes that the goodwill and consideration of Mr. Nakagawa Masaharu and of his collaborators would support projects to be implemented in a fast manner and with best results.
