Evaluation in S&T plays an important role and is always an issue paid with attention. The objective of the Workshop was aimed at learning China’s experience in S&T evaluation.
The Workshop has been focused on reports on Research and Development (R&D) evaluation funded by the Government in China, presented by Professor FangYan – Vice Director of the National Science and Technology Evaluation Center; Evaluation on National High Technology Program (Program 863) presented by Professor, Dr. TiaDelu MrliZhiyong – Department of Program Evaluation; Budget appraisal of projects under National Science and Technology program presented by Key engineer MS. Zhang Qian; Piloting China’s evaluation methodologies in Vietnamese context, for example KC 05 Program for 2001 – 2005 period presented by the representative from the research group - VISTEC.
At the Workshop, participants had discussions and direct exchanges relating to topics presented at the Workshop.
