In the meeting, Minister Hoàng Văn Phong expressed his thanks to Ambassador Hubert Cooreman for paying a visit and working with MOST. The Minister expressed his pleasure with cooperative relationships between the two countries which are more and more developed and his thanks for supports provided by Belgium to Vietnam over the past time.
Ambassador Hubert Cooreman and Minister Hoàng Văn Phong discussed on issues to strengthen more the cooperation between the two countries in S&T field, including scientific research and technology transfer. The Ambassador and Minister also discussed on the cooperation expansion in many other fields as education and training, information technology.
Ambassador Hubert Cooreman expressed his thanks to the Minister for facilitating and spending time to meet and his desires to expand the cooperation in other fields and Vietnam’s universities.
Minister Hoàng Văn Phong highly appreciated the research level of scientists and professors in Belgian universities; dynamics of Belgian enterprises in S&T use. The Minister hoped the Vietnam - Belgium S&T cooperation would achieve good results in the coming time.
