In the meeting, Minister Hoang Van Phong emphasized that the working term of Ambassador Rolf Peter Gottfried Schulze in Vietnam has imposed good impression in Vietnamese people’s mind. This is the picture of an ambassador who is committed to work, close, open, willing to share about work and entirely support good relationships between the two countries.

Ambassador Rolf Peter Gottfried Schulze expressed that during his 4-year term in Vietnam, he has been warmly welcomed by Vietnam’s Government and people with deep sentiments and friendliness. Vietnamese Government has created favourable conditions for the Ambassador to fulfil his tasks. The Ambassador highly appreciated cooperative relations between the two countries in S&T field which has been strongly developed over the past time.

Minister Hoang Van Phong said that in MOST’s work plan for next 5 or 10 years, MOST would prioritize the establishment and development of relationships with science organizations of other countries. Especially, the budget Vietnam is allocated for the cooperation program will be 5 time higher than the past time.

The Minister also expressed his believe and hoped with his new position, Ambassador Rolf Peter Gottfried Schulze would continue his consideration for Vietnam.
